Description: Yellow Gorgonians (Diodogorgia sp.) are a hardy species of gorgonian and one of the easiest to keep in captivity. They have a beautiful array of bright yellow branching arms covered in small red calyces; these red calyces are home to hundreds of tiny white polyps which the gorgonian extends in the current to filter feed on plankton. Position this gorgonian in an area of high flow, supplemental feeding of a small particle coral food or liquid plankton is necessary on occasion.
