Description: The Yellow Sand Sifting Cucumber (Holothuria sp.) is a tremendous reef-safe scavenger that will not only clean the sand of waste, but also prevent nuisance algae growth with its movement. Sand Sifting Cucumbers travel along the sandbed consuming sand. When the sand passes through their digestive system they filter out the detritus (fish waste) and expel the clean filtered sand. These are bright yellow with white markings, they have soft spikes along their bodies and a multitude of tiny tube feet on their underside.
