Description: Spotted Sea Hares (Aplysia brasiliana) are a great choice for hair algae control in the reef aquarium. They are reef-safe and require a constant supply of hair or macroalgae to survive. If there is no hair algae present, they can be fed macroalgae clippings from a refugium such as chaetomorpha or caulerpa. They are brown/tan in color with a series of black spots over their body.
