Description: Purple Condy Anemones (Condylactis gigantea) are a large, hardy species of anemone. They have long tentacles that extend outward from an oral disc; these tentacles are used to sting and catch plankton and other prey. These anemones are a lavender purple color and require strong water flow to survive. They will accept bits of frozen meaty foods, but also require photosynthesis. These anemones will act as a host for clownfish, creating a symbiotic relationship.
