This crab carries a small white anemone on each of its foreclaws, this is where it gets the name "Pom Pom Crab". It uses these anemones to ward off would-be predators, as well as a means to feed by swiping them along the sand bed. This is one of the more intriguing crabs available and very popular among reef keepers.
