Fighting conchs are sand sifters and will consume diatoms on the sand bed as well as detritus making them excellent all around tank cleaners.
+ Interesting Facts
These conchs do not actually "fight" with anything in the tank as their name suggests. They get along with all other types of invertebrates. They have bright yellow shells which can add excellent color to the reef tank. Sometimes the shell is covered in algae.

Film algae, diatoms, and detritus. Self sufficient on naturally occurring food; no target feeding is required.
